How a search runs

The service area determines the sourcing lens and the committee cadence. The workflow stays consistent across every appointment: a written search charge, structured sourcing, a calibrated shortlist and end-to-end campus-visit support. Timed to your governance and your academic calendar.

1. Committee kickoff and charge

We arrive at the kickoff meeting ready. We know the institutional type, the governance model, the reporting line, the compensation landscape and the passive market. Your kickoff time is spent on the campus context, not our education.

2. Structured sourcing

Sourcing across higher-ed networks, discipline associations, passive outreach and structured referrals. Applicant-pool composition reported at every calibration touch-point. Confidentiality maintained around campus rumours and internal politics.

3. Ranked shortlist

Three to five candidates per appointment, properly vetted, with written notes on each. Institutional-type fit, systems experience, governance-model fluency and reference readiness confirmed before we present. We rank the shortlist and explain the ranking to the committee.

4. Campus visit and offer

Campus-visit coordination, background verification, offer negotiation, relocation logistics and start-date timing mapped to your academic calendar. Follow-up check-ins at day 30 and day 90.

What sits outside our scope

Faculty and teaching appointments. Athletics and coaching roles. We recruit administrative and staff professionals only. If you ask us for a tenured professor or a head coach, we will refer you out with pleasure. Depth of focus within higher-ed administration is what makes our shortlists arrive faster and better matched than a generalist desk can manage.
