Why colleges and universities partner with us

Higher-ed is not another vertical

Most agencies treat academic administration as a footnote on a corporate desk. Our entire practice is higher-ed. The difference shows up in the first shortlist and in retention past the first academic year.

  • i.
Fluency in shared governanceWe know how a search committee actually runs, how faculty senate weighs in, and how a president's office needs to see a slate. Every search is scoped to your governance model.
  • ii.
Aligned to the academic calendarFall-cycle searches close in spring, spring-cycle searches close before winter break. We manage the timeline against your enrolment reporting deadlines, not a generic quarter.
  • iii.
Diversity as method, not overlayStructured sourcing widens the applicant pool from the start of the search. We report on pool composition at every calibration touch-point, never as an afterthought.
  • iv.
Twelve-month replacementEvery direct-hire appointment carries a twelve-month replacement window. If the appointment does not stick, we re-run the search at no additional fee.
